Hi, I’m Rachel. I’m an experienced private tutor and former secondary-school physics teacher, specialising in maths and physics tuition.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Physics, an MSc by Research in Physics Education, and a PGDE in Physics, all from the University of Edinburgh.

I taught physics in secondary schools for five years before moving into private tuition. I have now been tutoring maths and physics for over fifteen years, working with students of a wide range of ages and abilities.

Over the years, I have developed a great deal of experience explaining challenging topics in a clear and engaging way, helping students to build confidence and deepen their understanding.
